Responsibilities

Manage multimodal safety and operational studies including corridor, intersection improvement, and bicycle/pedestrian connectivity studies.

Collaborate with state and local transportation agencies.

Assess technical and analytical reports to provide data-driven solutions.

Communicate complex technical ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.

Make sound engineering recommendations and provide technical alternatives based on engineering principles.

Utilize project management skills and leadership qualities.

Work on traffic analysis and traffic simulation software.

Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Required

Bachelor’s degree with engineering coursework or degree related to assigned area

Three (3) years of professional engineering and construction management work experience of a complex nature with direct design as well as administrative experience

Strong project management skills and leadership qualities

Technical knowledge in multimodal transportation with a proven track record of successfully working with stakeholders

Knowledge of traffic analysis and traffic simulation software

Dependable and customer-service focused

Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

Ability to reason and solve problems in a collaborative manner

Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced work environment
