Responsibilities

Maintaining the integrity of products and processes through effective application of quality concepts, in line with internal quality standards, external Quality Management Systems certifications, and customer requirements.

Providing Quality Engineering support to various departments and functions ensuring flawless execution of projects and initiatives from conceptual stage to delivery and commissioning.

Ensuring continuous improvement of products and processes by leading cross-functional events and initiatives such as lessons learned and failure mode analysis.

Driving excellence through utilization of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and tools, implementing cost-effective strategies that meet or exceed customers’ expectations.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (i.e. Mechanical or Industrial) or other technical areas required

Mechanical aptitude (i.e. intuitive understanding of mechanical or engineering processes)

Change management and superior interpersonal skills (i.e. Understand technical and human issues related to operational or non-operational system improvements)

Proven track record of driving continuous improvement through application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and tools and effective project management preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Preferred

Formal previous training in Lean and Six Sigma, Process Control and SPC, variation reduction, Problem Solving techniques, DOE, etc, would be beneficial.

Formal training in Quality Management Systems and Internal Auditor Certification preferred
