Responsibilities
Work in the Bioprocessing Filtration business cross-functional team to drive growth through collaborations with customers and external industry experts.
Provide product application engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the 3M product portfolio.
Become a regional bioprocessing expert through collaborations across 3M's customer base and elevate 3M's visibility and reputation.
Work across relevant 3M organizations to provide customer insights, support customer-centric sales and marketing activities, and champion upcoming product evaluations at customer sites.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and two (2) years of industrial bioprocessing experience in a private, public, government or military environment. OR
High School Diploma/GED AND six (6) years of industrial bioprocessing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Two (2) years of experience in recombinant protein purification and/or biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and technologies
Current, valid driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position.
Preferred
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related discipline from an accredited institution
Two (2) years of bioprocess development and/or manufacturing science and technology (MSAT) experience in a commercial environment (private, public, government or military)
Hands-on experience in recombinant protein biopharmaceutical process development at pre-clinical and clinical stage of development
Working knowledge of advanced modality processing such as gene and cell therapy
Working knowledge of protein purification processes
Track record of technical collaborations across internal and external organizations, professional technical conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
