Responsibilities

Analyze all facets of proposed projects and provide detailed cost, schedule, and justification estimates to support capital expenditures.

Lead and manage all aspects of major projects including design, construction execution, vendor management, cost tracking, and startup.

Participate in cross-functional teams to investigate opportunities for process and product improvements.

Provide expertise in maintenance, operations, and process with an emphasis on logistics and warehousing design and workflow optimizations.

Utilize 3-D modeling tools for engineering and project analysis.

Required

A Bachelor of Science Engineering

7+ years experience in an engineering discipline in a manufacturing environment

Ability to travel 50%

Preferred

A Bachelor’s of Science in an Engineering discipline: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Industrial Distribution with Mechanical strongly preferred

10+ years project management with 7+ years in a roofing products manufacturing organization - (preferred)

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing projects with budgets of $30 M - 50M

Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplines as project manager and supervise others as a lead engineer.

Demonstrated ability to work with and provide expertise in maintenance, operations, and process, with an emphasis on logistics and warehousing design and workflow optimizations (preferred)

Previous experience in construction and/or general facilities management particularly in large scale warehousing operations (preferred)

Thorough knowledge and experience with computers and G Suite/MSOffice. Drafting experience with CAD, preferably 3-D inventor, solidworks or Navisworks.
