Responsibilities

Provide technical support for manufacturing personnel for process troubleshooting, safety, and quality at a 24/7 GMP batch facility producing APIs and intermediates, personal care products, and specialty chemicals

Work collaboratively with site and corporate R&D staff to scale new chemistries from lab scale to plant scale

Support site engineering in the design and implementation of capital projects and support new equipment coming on-line

Collect and analyze data from processes to help make decisions regarding batch quality and yield.

Work cross-functionally with site quality, maintenance, and materials departments to meet strategic production goals in a safe and timely manner

Support Process Safety Management efforts by participating in Process Hazard Analyses, submitting Management of Change requests, updating and improving operating procedures, and recommending and implementing process changes when appropriate

Support Production Manager and staff with ongoing continuous improvement efforts

Estimated travel of 10% to support site projects and gain on-the-job training as necessary
