Responsibilities

Direct a large process technology group responsible for research, development, and implementation in new products and extensions or enhancements to existing product lines

Manage exceptionally complex, practical applications of scientific theory and processes in the development and ongoing technical management of the division

Interact and offer solutions to address external customers High-Value Problems (HVP) on exceptionally complex process issues involving the division/segment

Lead strategic planning efforts to integrate research and development processes with both the unit and the Product Business Group's overall business plan

Provide approval guidelines and leadership to reporting process technology managers in the area of long-term strategy related to process development

Define performance metrics and reports on the organization's progress against specific goals

Responsible for alpha engineering program regarding all process technology related issues for the division/segment

Responsible for alpha and beta product release for the division/segment

Originate, design, perform, collect data, analyze and compile reports on unusually complex engineering experiments and provide solutions which are highly disruptive and ingenious within safety guidelines

Develop innovative solutions as part of a substantial track record of significant technology contributions
