Responsibilities

Perform field tasks, collect samples, and assist with the technical execution of projects.
Conduct field and office QA/QC responsibilities on environmental remediation and construction sites.
Participate in, and support site remedial designs, and feasibility studies.
Prepare engineering inspection, feasibility, and design reports.
Prepare construction and bid documents including drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
Assist on projects and tasks outside of primary responsibilities as needed.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field is required.
Engineer-in-Training certification.
1+ years of relevant work experience preferred (internship is acceptable).
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is a plus.
Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude.
Ability to perform field tasks and activities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Occasional out-of-town (overnight) travel will be required. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and consistent means of transportation to/from project sites located throughout the tri-state area.

Preferred

Strong Microsoft Office preferred.
AutoCAD and/or ArcMap GIS skills a plus.
