Responsibilities

Develop strong relationships with consultants, owners, and subcontractors
Use Timberline Estimating for take-off quantities, compile estimate content, and put together small change order and TI estimates
Coach, mentor, and train others
Understand prime contract
Check work in the field to ensure compliance with project docs and submittals

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of related construction experience in scheduling, field supervision, procurement, and knowledge of production throughout all phases of construction
Proven written and verbal communication abilities
Strong overall management, planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Delegates work appropriately
Proficient using computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Bluebeam
First Aid and CPR trained
CESCL certification
30 Hour OSHA certification

Preferred

Experience in Class A office, healthcare, multifamily developments, and senior housing construction
Experience with Timberline Estimating for take-off quantities
Knowledge of LEED certification
Experience in developing value-oriented options for cost savings
Experience in subcontractor prequalification and bid evaluation
Understanding of environmentally sound practices
Experience in storm water management
Experience in drafting subcontracts
Experience in managing PCO's and subcontract change orders
Experience in managing RFI process and submittal review process
Experience in cost control procedures
Experience in civil and structural work techniques and methods
Certification in storm water management
Certification in other relevant areas
Experience in perfecting delivery schedules with subcontractors
Experience in monitoring progress against goals
Experience in updating and monitoring schedules
Experience in recording meeting minutes and decisions made
Experience in providing progress reports
Experience in identifying safety violations and reporting
Experience in supporting billing process
Experience in responding to owner questions and concerns promptly
