Responsibilities
Assist in developing, implementing, and leading security measures to protect projects and infrastructure.
Guide and develop a team dedicated to security best practices and risk assessments.
Lead the integration of security practices across the DevSecOps life cycle.
Design and develop secure infrastructure solutions using Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Optimize solutions for scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
Ensure all systems and procedures adhere to industry best practices and governmental regulations for security.
Drive the development and implementation of security architectures for the protection of sensitive data and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate security considerations in the early stages of project development.
Conduct security assessments and audits, provide recommendations, and oversee the implementation of security controls.
Serve as a subject matter expert on security, advising on the latest threats, trends, and technologies.
Mentor and develop a team of security professionals, setting clear objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required
10+ years of experience in computer industry, security and identity, and delivering to a large enterprise
5+ years of experience in a security architect role
Experience working with security tools, including Splunk, Microsoft Security Suite, BigFix, Mobile Management, or Config management tools
Knowledge of cloud environments and DevSecOps
Knowledge of Identity and Access capabilities in an enterprise
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Preferred
Experience with government compliance, certification, and accreditation processes, including frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD standards
Experience with leading security initiatives and teams in complex project environments
Knowledge of Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and their respective security tools and best practices
Knowledge of network architecture, data protection, and application security
Knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle
Knowledge of Booz Allen security solutions and process
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
CISSP, CISM, or CEH Certifications preferred
