Responsibilities

Provides project management and construction management services to clients.
Performs all Project Engineering responsibilities, and engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance on multiple projects simultaneously.
Inspects project sites, manages, and supports a number of district-wide campus specific projects, solar energy projects, and other projects such as modernization and systems upgrades.
Sets up and maintains all aspects of project documentation in the Districts document platform.
Writes project procedures.
Reviews project plans for completeness and accuracy.
Prepares bid projects and solicits and evaluates bids.
Prepares billings and expedites payments.
Reviews submittals, RFI's and change order requests.
Translates complex, technical issues into terms that key stakeholders or clients can easily understand to enable them to make an informed decision on a construction project.
Identifies plans and specifications for construction management on multiple projects simultaneously.
Translates architectural programming elements and guides design professionals to comply with program project scope and budget.
Logs and Processes Project Documentation such as: Project Meeting Notes, Requests for Information (RFI), Change Order Requests (COR), and Project Correspondence.
Attention to detail in gathering various requirements from stakeholders, clients, and external personnel to advise on holistic advance planning for the best execution on construction project goals.
Tracks, reviews, and processes initial Change Order Request (COR) with Owner's Team for entitlement of time and/or money.
Cultivates relationships with clients and stakeholders and acts in a capacity of a trusted advisor or expert on technical, business, regulatory, and/or ethical considerations for construction project planning.
Develops and follows Punch List for completing pre-approved plans and specifications in allotted time.
