Responsibilities
Supporting build, test, deployment, and monitoring tools, services, and environments within a cloud hosted environment.
Assisting with software releases, infrastructure management, inventory, installations, configurations, and connectivity.
Maintaining and modernizing legacy applications, tools, and systems using automation tools on GCP cloud native services and Kubernetes/Openshift/GKE.
Monitoring applications and systems to identify, fix, and reduce potential problems within the applications, tools, and services.

Required
US Citizenship is required and must be able to obtain a Public Trust government clearance
Minimum of FOUR (4) years industry experience
Minimum of TWO (2) years experience in the required as a DevOps engineer Experience in a DevOps environment working with multiple teams/applications
Deploying and troubleshooting Java based application stacks (NGINX or Apache HTTPD, JAVA JDK, Apache Tomcat, Postgresql)
Configuring and troubleshooting application network configuration (Reverse Proxy, TLS Certificates, DNS, load balancers, routers, firewalls)
Developing and using application pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton, Gitlab or Harness)
Deploying applications to Google cloud and/or Kubernetes (OpenShift, GKE, or EKS)
Linux (RHEL 8 and later)
Windows Server (2016 and greater)
Preferred
Using Git Source Control (Git, GitLab, or BitBucket)
Developing and using automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, or Helm)
Application and infrastructure logging/monitoring(Nagios, DataDog, NewRelic or Splunk)
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment
Experience with a scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, JAVA) and API usage
Team player that fully embraces DevOps culture, eliminate barriers and bridge moats
Federal Government Experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiasm and Excitement for learning and implementing new technologies
Experience with a discretionary variable incentive bonus
