Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting and resolution of sev-1/sev-2 issues/incidents with production applications/vendors within the specified SLAs
Initiate and coordinate SWAT calls for resolving Sev-1/Sev-2 issues.
Manage sev-3/sev-4 tickets/incidents/tickets within the specified SLAs
Plan and coordinate patches and updates to the servers/products etc.
Coordinate change and issue resolution activities with network, middleware, hardware, OS, DB, and external application groups
Exercise strong communication skills including the ability to convey technical information effectively.
Work with the client to prioritize daily operational events and enhancements.
Plan system maintenance and upgrade events across multiple vendors
To be ready to be on-call support 24/7 including weekends
Ensure repeatability and reusability of integration design, processes, and code.
Comply with the organization’s Code of Conduct; all regulatory and contractual requirements; organizational policies; procedures; and internal controls.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with online production application.
Prove exposure to Cloud (AWS/GCP) Environment
Show your understanding of concepts of integration using java Apache camel integration and Springboot framework.
Share your understanding of concepts around integrating systems via API services built using Java technology stack and RESTFUL / SOAP API protocols.
Independently test and debug Java code.
Monitor online health of production Java application environments thru dashboards and other available tools.
Show familiarity with relational databases, preferably Oracle SQL
Report progress to customer on daily / weekly basis as deemed necessary.
Closely work with customer stakeholders to continuously look out for opportunities where can add value and work on proposals for those additional opportunities.

Required

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Healthcare Payor domain/HealthPlan working with medical claim adjudication platforms like HealthEdge HealthRules Payor or FACETS or QNEXT
Minimum 3 years’ experience working on production support teams/engagements
Candidate should have more than 4 years of IT experience with minimum 2 years in production support project
Should have experience working in ticketing tool, Preferably ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
Experience with ITIL production support processes, root cause analysis documentation and presentation etc.
Experience with SLA management/reporting
Excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within Technology, Business and Operations
Understanding of the impact of system reliability on business processes and financial performance
Strong planning and coordination skills
Word, excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
Experience in planning and coordinating work with vendors/third party applications
Experience working in an offshore model is a must.
Experience working in multiple technologies which could include but not be limited to: Informatica, Core Java; Spring Boot; Web Services; XML; SQL; Middleware.
Expertise with SQL and relational databases.

Preferred

Experience in HealthEdge HealthRules Payor application is preferred
Experience working with Medicare or Medicaid Healthplans is preferred
