Responsibilities

Consultation with senior leadership on growth strategy related to decarbonization/electrification.

Consultation with clients on energy and carbon goals, design concepts, and project economics.

Marketing assistance to develop demand for services related to decarbonization and electrification.

Supervise all Mechanical discipline managers for successful operations.

Ensure compliance with quality management processes and procedures.

Recruitment and development of technical staff and project managers.

Technical training and development of staff in energy planning, modeling, and clean energy technologies.

Establishing and improving standards, practices, and guidelines for Mechanical discipline.

Act as Engineer of Record on select projects.

Provide technical advice, decisions, and cost estimates.

Resolve Mechanical engineering conflicts within the office.

Evaluation of project opportunities and Go/No Go determination.

Technical interface with code officials and contractors.

Active participation in local and national technical organizations.

Required

Accomplished mechanical engineer/PE with 20+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of mechanical systems, thermal energy infrastructure and clean energy technologies.

Experience should include technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success in meeting contract specifications and achieving high performance and advanced energy design standards.

Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
