Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise to Sales and Applications during the quotation process.
Recommend and implement metrics for customer satisfaction and maintain overall satisfaction during project life cycles.
Implement departmental policies and objectives, operate within budget parameters, and maintain an accurate project tracking system.
Resolve issues at the director level, recommend best practices and standard designs for quality improvement, and assess new technologies.
Communicate and implement project team culture, refine job descriptions, and produce succession candidates for key roles.
Ensure ethical business conduct, demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environment compliance, and provide training to employees.

Required
A BS degree specializing in technology, engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in automated tooling and equipment design, development, and testing. 2 or more years with demonstrated experience in a management role.
Demonstrate understanding of the systems design process, mechanics/mechatronics, robotics, vision systems, machine controls, structured problem solving, statistical analysis, precision engineering principles.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to lead and work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.
