Responsibilities

Technically lead and mentor a high-performance engineering team, engineering managers and provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality products

Build and manage relations with the business partners and understand their business requirements. Closely work with the Product Management, Business teams, Architects, and other cross-functional teams

Work with stakeholders to define the future roadmap of the products, adopt the latest technology innovation wherever necessary

Build tools and automation to prevent re-occurrence of problems to mission-critical products and services and engender reliability and availability, starting with metrics and measurements

Define engineering practices, product development patterns and drive products development to scale to Walmart requirements.

Follow agile methodologies and program practices in product development lifecycle and focus on team productivity improvements using the right tools and processes.

Hire talent, mentor and grow the team.

Proactively monitor, identify and resolve supply chain issues.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years' experience in software engineering or related area

8 years' experience in software engineering or related area

3 years' supervisory experience

Preferred

Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Background in creating inclusive digital experiences

Demonstrated knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies

Knowledge of accessibility best practices

Experience in integrating digital accessibility seamlessly

Familiarity with Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture
