Responsibilities

Ensure quality systems are suitably managed in line with service excellence.

Deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief through design development, planning, contractor procurement, and construction phase.

Manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders.

Provide program level leadership to ensure successful completion of programs.

Establish key relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Procure and lead specialist design teams, permitting, budgeting, and construction supervision.

Implement an effective project management framework.

Manage the performance of the program team to execute programs and projects.

Act as the key client and consultant interface at all project stages.

Direct project planning and production of the detailed project plan.

Supervise and manage the cross-functional project team.

Provide strategic advice from project conception stage to achieve overall objectives.

Anticipate and implement strategies to address quality, safety, health, and environment issues.

Establish and manage effective project governance, processes, and systems.

Monitor and apply performance management techniques using KPIs.

Monitor and advise upon project finances and procurement of resources.

Monitor and control contract changes and variations.

Establish and lead regular site progress meetings.

Identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans.

Establish and prepare formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client.

Prepare scope of works including the identification of resource requirements and supporting cost estimation.

Develop a plan for the timely closeout and practical completion of the works.

Manage project budgets and highlight risks, challenges, and mitigations.

Support the long-term development of the function or Business Unit.

Commit to making a positive impact for people, clients, and the planet.

Manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner.

Lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project KPIs.

Actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practices.

Required

Relevant degree (MS or MBA preferred)

Demonstrated capital program leadership experience

Effectively managed integrated team(s) on large complex and multi-phase life science and industrial manufacturing capital programs

Knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including alternative project delivery (design build and construction manager at risk)
