Responsibilities

Monitor network and system activity for potential security breaches and anomalies.

Analyze and investigate security incidents and events using various tools and techniques.

Coordinate and execute incident response and recovery actions.

Recommend and implement security solutions and improvements.

Perform security audits and assessments and report on findings and recommendations.

Develop and update security policies, procedures, and standards.

Conduct security awareness training and education for staff and stakeholders.

Stay updated on current and emerging security trends, threats, and best practices.

Other duties may be assigned.

Required

Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years related Information Security experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g. NIST, ISO, PCI, HIPAA, etc.).

Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g. firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, IDS/IPS, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
