Responsibilities

Scope out projects and establish a design basis

Create process flow diagrams (PFD’s) and generate material balances

Create piping and instrumentation diagrams and specify process mechanical equipment and instrumentation

Assist other discipline leads in successful implementation of the process design

Interpret plant data and design often on limited information with strong engineering judgment

Use and develop internal tools and process engineering software

Have familiarity with engineering practices, vendor requirements, and discipline engineering needs across multiple process industries

Possess an entrepreneurial mindset to succeed at Clayco

Required

Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university or college

Successfully passed PE exam

Bulk material handling experience

Knowledge of lean processes

Field construction and startup experience

Preferred

Experience with pneumatic transport of materials

Experience with bulk material conveying like belt, drag and screw conveyors

An entrepreneurial mindset
