Responsibilities

Create and facilitate flexographic electronic artwork in a team environment.
Utilize graphic design technology and software to produce imagery for the flexographic print industry.
Originate design, art, and copy layouts.
Determine style, size, and arrangement of type and illustrations.
Communicate with internal and external customers, estimate and enter orders, handle billing, and support print plate production and shipping operations.
Travel may be required.

Required

HS Diploma or GED required.
5 years’ professional experience as a graphic designer and illustrator required.
Extensive knowledge of Macintosh computers and all major graphics applications, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and basic to intermediate skills in plotters, tools, materials, and needed equipment.
Must be able to conceptualize and perform at a rapid pace while clients and potential customers are present.
Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills, problem-solving skills, multi-tasking skills—must work well under pressure and be deadline-driven.
Strong oral, written and e-mail communication and listening skills.
Enthusiastic, self-sufficient, results-oriented, customer-focused, innovative, and persistent.
Must be detail-oriented, reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
Customer Service Skills Required.

Preferred

Knowledge of the post-print box industry is a plus.
Experience in ESKO Artwork Systems & CAD-based programs are a plus.
