Responsibilities
Develop application related documentation for BI (i.e. Test scenarios/scripts, test plans, design documents, instructional documents)
Coordinate and facilitate design reviews with BI end users and programming personnel
Ensure compliance with configuration management standards and guidelines (i.e. Version control, release management)
Report and track all BI testing processes and software related issues
Provide functionality updates to key personnel on new patch releases, BI enhancements and new version releases
Serve as liaison between the helpdesk, systems administrators, database administrators and functional users
Troubleshoot technical applications problems and coordinate resolution of problems with other support groups as well as application administrators
Obtain regular processing reports to check for errors, assess/analyze errors and distinguish between databases, application and customized application problems
Assist with developing strategy for the installation and testing of major releases
Perform testing on any and all fixes provided for application and abide by the SDLC process for promoting code thru the various environments
Assist in providing supporting documentation for Data Warehouse systems
Provide technical support for interfaces and troubleshoot and resolve any interface issues
Respond to Service Desk Requests and incidents within the parameters set forth by NEXCOM SLA's
Ensure/implement the rigorous application of Information Security/Information Assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of Systems, Applications and/or Services (Hardware & Software)
Moderate Travel may be required
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required
3 years experience in administrative, technical or investigative work
Ability for problem solving, identifying factors, gathering pertinent information and recognizing solutions
Accomplishing work that requires planning a logical sequence of steps
Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing
2 years experience in technical, managerial or analytical work
Knowledge of computer requirements and techniques
Background in analysis of organizational and functional relationships, workflow and procedures
Experience in developing modifications to existing management information systems
Planning, coordination and development of project controls
