Inspects, scopes, approves, and adjusts estimates of damage, as well as determines loss amounts
Prepares report of findings and negotiates settlement

Required
Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of one year of claims handling experience
Instead of the above, an associate degree and a minimum of three years related work experience, at least one year of which must be in claims handling
Instead of a degree, a minimum of five years related work experience, at least one year of which must be in claims handling
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Preferred
Strong working knowledge of Xactimate
Homeowners policy experience
One or more years of property claims handling experience
One or more years of field experience
