Responsibilities

Collect data and perform statistical analysis

Map and document processes

Recommend and implement process improvement

Establish and implement performance measures

Conduct Supply Chain and/or inventory analyses

Redesign and/or reengineer logistics processes

Support business development and create efficient designs and solutions

Determine efficient utilization of capacity by analyzing layouts, labor force, equipment, and transportation along with forecasted demand

Work with Supply Chain and DC Operations Managers to implement efficient, competitive solutions

Manage projects of varying sizes and complexity

Apply Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Statistical Process Controls (SPC) tools

Assist in the development and delivery of presentations to leadership as needed

Perform additional duties as required by management

Required

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred

At least 5 years of experience in a similar industry or position required with a degree

At least 7 years of experience in a similar industry or position required in lieu of a degree

Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications

Knowledge of transportation and distribution operations, fleet operations, distribution center management, materials handling, decision support systems, and technology

Experience preparing and presenting oral and written presentations to management and clients

Proficient in Visio, Project Management tools, Excel

Experience with supply chain technology (SAP (or other ERPs), Coupa, WMS systems, Transportation Management Systems, etc.)

Basic understanding of optimization and/or simulation algorithms

Database skills, especially through SQL or Access

Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
