Responsibilities
Conduct quality control audits of insurance updates processed to assess compliance with company procedures and SLA agreements.
Review internal control procedures to ensure insurance processing transactions meet regulatory requirements.
Identify inefficiencies in processing and potential weaknesses, coordinating findings with the training team for documentation.
Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of insurance processing.
Prepare and maintain accurate audit reports to support findings.

Required
Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of two (2) years identifying process improvements, automobile and/or mortgage insurance processing, escrow insurance disbursement, or related experience preferably within the insurance industry required.
Quality control auditing experience preferred.
Basic understanding of Auto and Mortgage Insurance.
Familiar with appropriate and effective internal control procedures.
Able to identify business process improvements and report existing deficiencies to management.
Able to analyze and manipulate large volumes of transaction-level detail.
Able to effectively plan and execute audit assignments including documentation of audit approach and findings.
Able to recommend means of obtaining and analyzing transactional data, as well as evaluate the accuracy of insurance update transactions in accordance with company procedures.
Able to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.
Strong organization skills and close attention to detail.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to interview individuals associated with audit subject matter as well as communicate findings to management.
Working knowledge of personal computers to include MS Word and Excel.
Able to type 35 wpm accurately.
Able to stoop, kneel, and sit for long periods of time.
Preferred
Intermediate to advance MS Access and MS Excel skills preferred.
