Responsibilities

Develop and execute performance test plans based on system and application requirements

Conduct load, stress, volume, concurrency and endurance testing

Identify performance bottlenecks, issues, and provide recommendations based on findings

Create automated performance test scripts

Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements

Provide insights for performance improvements

Generate comprehensive test reports

Collaborate with developers to resolve issues

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

3 years of experience in performance testing.

Good understanding of the interplay of software and the hardware it runs on, in terms of performance implications

Experience with performance test tools, such as Microfocus (Formerly HP’s) Load Runner and/or Performance Center.

Good hands-on working knowledge of script development utilizing different protocols offered by LoadRunner in particular Web/Http, Web Services, RTE.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Experience with Unix, Linux, or variant

Working knowledge of Windows-based systems

Experience with relational databases

Performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Dynatrace

Preferred

Knowledge of other tools like JMeter is a plus

Script development experience desired (e.g., Korn shell, C shell, Awk, Perl, PowerShell, etc)

Industry experience in investment management or financial services preferred
