Responsibilities

Create and execute the features and delivery content for the Test4z product

Create new software APIs in COBOL and/or C

Ability to understand customer needs to design and develop appropriate ‘outside-in’ validation points

Actively support and contribute to end-of-iteration demos

Mentor, train, develop, and serve as a knowledge resource for less experienced Software Engineers

Required

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

In-depth expertise with COBOL, C and at least one script language JavaScript/TypeScript, Python

8+ years of experience as a software engineer

Experience in Agile Development

Familiarity with the VSCode development environment

Experience with CI/CD pipelines setup (Jenkins is a plus), build configuration, with unit testing and test automation

Preferred

Knowledge and experience with the Mainframe environment (ISPF, CICS, Db2, IMS, IDMS)

Knowledge of Source Code Control Systems such as Endevor and Github

Familiarity with any formal project tracking toolset
