Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes

Interface with Project Engineers, Production Associates, Process Engineers, and Management to improve efficiency, first pass yields, and quality

Work on continuous improvement of processes on the production floor by analyzing defect data, optimizing product flow, and pursuing better methods and technologies

Focus on surface mount assembly equipment to enhance performance and support operators in process improvement

Required

Process Expert in the area of SMT or Wave soldering

Minimum 5 years of process engineering experience or equivalent direct technical support of an electronics assembly process

Knowledge of Process control methodologies (SPC, Cp, Cpk,)

Process Expert in one or more of SMT, Wave soldering, and Mechanical Assembly

Must have excellent communication skills, technical writing abilities, analytical skills, be a team player and able to take independent decisions related to the job function

At least four years of manufacturing experience in electronic manufacturing with a focus on SMT or Wave soldering

Knowledge of IPC documentation

Knowledge of Six sigma and lean manufacturing
