Responsibilities
Work collaboratively within an Agile Team to write high quality, automated QA tests that meet the Definition of Done.
Create automated unit, system, and acceptance tests.
Participate in test plan reviews.
Perform unit/module testing of software.
Responsible for assigned integration, testing, and deployment tasks.
Actively foster continuous team improvement in self and team.
Contribute to team retrospectives; help to identify and resolve team impediments.
Take ownership of problems and continuously strive to become a better problem solver.
Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
Identify and capture backlog items local to the team, such as defects and refactors.
Actively participate in team planning and contributing to team goals.
Volunteer for and commit to delivering stories and tasks within the iteration.
Work within a self-directed Agile team; commit to work and own the outcome.
Demonstrate and cultivate a passion for delivering high quality products aligned with customer needs; gain customer exposure to build empathy.
Employ continuous learning; continue to build domain expertise and keep abreast of new technology, processes, systems, and tools.
May mentor new team members and provide technical feedback.
Actively communicate and collaborate within the team and across functional boundaries.

Required
Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related field
12 or more years of experience in software development or a related field
Experience with QA best practices
Experience with QA automation tools and maintaining QA testing infrastructures
Experience working with mainframe products and tools
Experience in test planning, design, and execution
Experience in many different types of functional and non-functional testing
Experience with z/OS is a must
Preferred
Additional experience in the following languages: C, C++, COBOL, PL/1, ISPF CLIST, REXX, JCL, Python, Java, JavaScript
Knowledge and related product expertise in the following: Test Automation, Jenkins, Automated testing experience
