Responsibilities
Work with a team to modernize existing and implement new tools for efficient business solutions.
Utilize COBOL/400, ILE, Control Language for Iseries, SQL, and Agile methodologies.
Develop architectural diagrams for solutions and ensure secure file transfers.
Collaborate with end users and management to understand requirements and test changes.
Bring 2 to 5 years of COBOL programming experience to the role.
Possess technical skills in COBOL/400, Control Language, SQL, and source control tools.
Demonstrate good knowledge of database DB2/400 and an insurance background is helpful.
Show a passion for learning, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Operate independently, be a team player, leader, and have an innovative spirit.

Required
2 to 5 years of Cobol programming experience.
COBOL Development on Iseries (AS/400)
Control Language for Iseries (AS/400)
ALDON (change management tool/Source Code Management)
Developer must have experience in COBOL/400, Control Language (CL/400), and SQL
Experience with utilities like SEU, SDA, RLU, PDM, WRKQRY, WRKVIEW
Good knowledge of database DB2/400
Insurance background helpful

Great communication skills and proficient writing skills
Self-starter and have ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion.
Attention to detail is critical
