Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and engineering expertise for project site work
Support service, repair, installations, or fleet outages
Advise and assist in disassembly, repair, and assembly of power generation equipment
Support power generation equipment start-up activities and troubleshooting
Coordinate with Toshiba design groups as directed by Project/Site Manager
Supervise site labor, manage shift activities, and approve labor timesheets
Submit shift work activity reports and expense reports in a timely manner
Assist in proposal/contract planning and ensure technical requirements are met
Address technical issues with sub-contractors and suppliers

Required

Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Above average verbal and written communications skills
Experience in installation, repair, or refurbishment of power generation equipment
Certified Steam Turbine, Hydro or Nuclear technology training by Toshiba or equivalent company is preferred
Asbestos Abatement Supervisor certification
OSHA 10 Construction and General Industry certification
OSHA 30 certification
First Responder and CPR certification

Preferred

Bachelor's Level Degree Highly Preferred
Familiarity with product and document management, including PDM systems
Without Bachelor Degree, strong industry experience in power generation equipment installation, operations, field services or repair work
