Responsibilities
Lead small to medium projects independently, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable business goals.
Plan and execute field investigations, including drilling, sampling, and data collection. Lead teams during fieldwork.
Conduct engineering and technical computations, verify calculations, review laboratory data, and formulate recommendations.
Engage with clients, contractors, regulators, local government officials, and the public to ensure project success.
Coordinate and prepare professional reports, adhering to company policies and technical best practices.
Develop scope and fee proposals for small to medium projects under senior guidance.

Required
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology or related field
4+ years of environmental consulting experience
Professional licensure (PG or PE) in North Carolina, or ability to obtain
Knowledge of environmental sampling and testing methods, as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
Experience interacting with regulatory agencies/representatives
OSHA 1910.120 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
Ability to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
