Responsibilities
Manage Functional Safety activities for safety conformity and compliance.
Collaborate with project managers, development team and customers on Functional Safety
Participate in the design process and provide professional feedback to achieve the safety goal.
Conduct reviews with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles.
Travel up to 25% to Symbotic and customer sites.

Required
BS degree in an engineering related discipline
2+ years of experience driving product functional safety and compliance
Experience with functional safety standards and regulations
Experience with system engineering approaches (requirements engineering / management, functional analysis and allocation, architecture design, validation, and verification)
Familiarity with development and quality process (FMEA/FTA methods/tools)
Excellent oral and written communication skills for internal and external customers
Strong documentation skills and practices
Ability to operate independently in a matrix organization and navigate complex business systems
Good technical leadership, planning and organization/control skills and approaches challenges with a positive attitude
Comfortable in presenting and ability to adapt to audience
