Responsibilities

Provide training and support to the customer base.

Assist the field sales team with complaint resolution and technical support.

Identify and propose new product concepts to meet customer needs.

Travel extensively within the territory (FL, GA, AL, MS).

Required

Five or more years of telecommunication experience

Experience with fiber optic cable and connectivity products

Able to proceed with considerable freedom and conduct own projects, making evaluations and providing recommendations

Excellent communication, presentation, and digital literacy, including PowerPoint

Ability to travel upwards of 50% in normal circumstances

Able to work occasionally in extreme outdoor environments

Preferred

SAP experience

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical subject area

Live in the territory (AL, FL GA, MS) Georgia and Florida preferred

Two or more years of progressive technical product experience; internships may qualify

Able to function independently and exercise judgment to react to situations in a timely manner

A high degree of integrity due to exposure to sensitive sales data and strategic product plans
