Responsibilities

Perform activities such as issuing reports, conducting product quality audits, interpreting specifications, and maintaining product quality within the manufacturing process.

Facilitate development builds, analyze data, conduct process trials, and improve manufacturing capability.

Utilize continuous improvement tools, analyze product irregularities, recommend solutions, and facilitate cost reduction initiatives.

Train team members, provide floor support, identify and correct performance issues, and reduce waste and costs through analysis.

Influence floor and staff associates, possess knowledge of tire specification, construction, manufacturing equipment, and processes, and communicate effectively at all levels.

Required

Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

3 years' experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement experience, a solid understanding of product quality & waste reduction & experience in understanding product integrity

Experience in a union environment (as applicable)

Specific experience in tire manufacturing processes desired

Ability to influence floor & staff associates in all activities desired

Tire specification, tire construction, manufacturing equipment & manufacturing processes

Must be analytical & able to organize data & communicate to all levels of organization in all areas of expertise
