Responsibilities
Responsible for network-wide rollout and management of strategic initiatives such as warehouse automation and lean methods programs.
Analyze processes to identify and eliminate waste and constraints in warehouse processes.
Lead overall productivity improvements by reducing equipment cycle time, defects, and downtime.
Research and implement new warehouse processes and equipment.
Implement lean warehousing programs and Six Sigma methodologies.
Conduct economic evaluations and write business cases to support financial well-being.
Design and evaluate warehouse layouts for efficient goods flow.
Create technical specifications and procure equipment and services.
Provide project management and leadership throughout project life cycles.
Facilitate creation of operational network standards and procedures.
Lead workshops on problem-solving, lean methods, and process optimization.
Support facility design and layouts for warehouses.
Improve key operational metrics like cost per order and equipment efficiency.
Be a strategic liaison between warehouse operations and HQ business partners.
Champion and embody the Stitch Fix culture, mission, and values.

Required
10+ years of total experience in technical roles that leverage your engineering and project management skill set
7+ years of experience applying advanced lean methods and automation technology
7+ years of operations experience (fulfillment operations experience is a plus!)
5+ years of project management and organizational change management experience
4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (industrial or mechanical engineering is a plus!)
Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Travel close to 25% for this role
Enjoy working independently as well as part of a team
Superior spreadsheet skills, including basic financial modeling
Keen problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, research, and analyze problems, determine alternative solutions, and create action steps
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to research and analyze large amounts of data, with great attention to detail
Work well in a demanding, fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities
Organized and service-oriented towards our internal and external clients
Excellent at written and verbal communication and can clearly and concisely present information
Open to continuously providing and receiving both affirming and constructive, developmental feedback
