Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel to organizations investigating and responding to data privacy and cybersecurity incidents.
Oversee and advise Associates in collecting information and engaging experts for investigations.
Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and communicate with regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for crisis management support outside normal business hours.
Maintain caseload, provide mentorship to Associates, and serve as primary client contact throughout investigations.

Required
Membership in good standing to a state Bar
Experience with cybersecurity law
Enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude
Exceptional analytic, writing, communication, and preparation skills
Focused attention to detail
Ability to independently maintain caseload and provide guidance to Associates
6-12 years of experience in relevant fields (data privacy, cybersecurity, healthcare, regulatory compliance)
Preferred
Experience in private or in-house practices responsible for data privacy, cybersecurity, healthcare, and regulatory compliance
Experience on behalf of a regulatory agency involving data privacy and cybersecurity matters
