Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall operations of multiple outreach programs such as P.O.W.E.R, Senior & Junior Companion, Respite Plus, Drop-In, Peer Bridger & Advocay, and Assistant Case Management
Provides and documents supervision to program supervisors bi-weekly
Recruit, interview, hire, supervise, train, and evaluate staff
Ensure program coverage and provide emergency back-up as needed
Responsible for continuing program development, evaluation of operational procedures and services in conjunction with interfacing departments
Provide on-call emergency support to program staff
Present our agency to the public and interfacing organizations
Coordinate staff attendance to conferences and trainings in the community
Ensure monthly unit targets are being met for each program in accordance with funding sources and develop plan of action if not met
Remain current on changing developments in the field of expertise

Required
Minimum High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting
Valid and clean NY State driver license
Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Detail oriented
Able to multi-task and be a team player
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
