Responsibilities

Hardware/Firmware development:
Architecture and interface development and analysis,
Digital Hardware Design and Development
FGPA VHDL Development
Mechanical engineering modeling and drawing development (2D, 3D)
Technical data package development
Systems Engineering:
Model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
Development of system architectures, prototypes, and specifications
Requirements derivation, tracing, and management

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
3.0 or higher cumulative GPA
Must be registered for Full-time Internship Credit
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance

Preferred

Ability to perform research independently
Ability to prioritize tasks while working on multiple projects
Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
Experience with schematic capture or board layout
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to a non-technical audience
