Responsibilities

Support, develop, and maintain key elements of the Quality Management System

Collect, analyze, and execute QMS data

Participate in Internal QMS audits

Participate in Continuous Improvement teams

Participate in root cause analysis & corrective action teams

Define & document acceptance criteria

Work with supply chain to evaluate & measure supplier performance

Interpret customer and internal quality requirements and develop quality plans

Represent Quality in the New Product Development Process

Required

BS degree in a technical discipline

Certification to a Quality discipline is preferred

Minimum three years of previous experience in quality concepts, metrics and problem solving methodologies; including supplier quality, manufacturing quality, internal auditing, SPC, Root Cause analysis, and COPQ reduction

Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office suite in the generation of professional documents and reports. Use of Minitab or equivalent statistical software packages a must

Lean/six-sigma experience preferred

Fundamental understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques

Basic knowledge in metrology techniques and outputs

Good oral & written communication skills

Team focused with the ability to participate in and/or lead cross-functional teams

Familiarity with basic Quality Management System standards such as ISO 9001 or AS 9100

Basic knowledge with Process Control tools, and statistical techniques

Preferred

Lean/six-sigma experience
