Responsibilities

Complete legal processes for client liens, levies, garnishments, information requests and take appropriate action to restrict account access, liquidate positions, and/or pay creditors.

Serve as primary point-of-contact for legal, treasury, Omnibus, and banking teams to perform daily ad hoc tasks.

Spearhead semi-annual escheatment process by creating data reports, liaising with Customer Service team, performing due diligence, and managing timelines.

Assist legal team in responding to subpoenas and restraining notices.

Correspond with government entities.

Manage vendor relationships to ensure firm’s standards and requirements are aligned.

Continually identify inefficiencies in current processes and implement solutions to optimize workflows.

Required

Bachelor’s degree or 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

Ability to obtain SIE and Series 7 within 6 months of employment

Prior production experience working at a retail broker dealer

Strong problem solving, control, and project management skills a plus

Excellent oral and written communication skills; superb attention to detail

Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
