Responsibilities

Drive adoption of targeted product, application workflows, and services across key customer areas.

Achieve forecasted sales goals, develop strategic business growth plans, and expand sales through existing and new customers.

Utilize Salesforce.com daily for customer information and updates.

Travel overnight up to 50% of the time.

Collaborate across internal partners and stakeholders.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a life science or business is preferred, ideally with post-secondary degrees in relative or similar field of study

10+ years of sales experience; familiarity with molecular biology instrumentation and practical application strongly preferred

Molecular diagnostic, genomics and/or biotech market experience is a strong plus

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills

Proven commercial excellence working in a matrix environment

Organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
