Responsibilities

Expertly analyze and interpret complex data sets.
Work with large sets of data in various formats/structures, including APIs.
Program in SQL and Python to extract, transform, and load data from different sources.
Utilize data science techniques for data warehousing, database design, and data management.
Assess, match, and model data while ensuring data quality and governance standards.
Pay close attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with the team on data migration projects and fact-check information.
Manage and organize large-scale data projects efficiently.
Conduct testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Required

Expert/strong data analysis and statistical background
Experience working with large sets of data in a variety of formats/structures (including APIs)
Proficiencies in programming languages such as SQL/Python & ability to ETL data from various sources
Knowledgeable in data science, data warehousing/database design & management, data assessments, matching legacy data to new data structures, data modeling and data quality management/governance/standards
Strong attention to detail & problem-solving capabilities
Python, Pyspark, Hive and SQL skills required
Data analysis experience required preferably with Credit card data
Ability to fact check information provided by the team that is doing data migration is required
Experience/involvement with large scale projects a must, but basic project management/organizational skills are required

Preferred

Data conversion/migration experience is preferred
Testing experience would be a plus
