Responsibilities
Develop, foster, and grow a team of UX professionals to serve as a strategic & valuable branch of the product team
Determine team priorities, develop & maintain roadmaps aligning with the larger product team’s goals & business objectives
Oversee the establishment, adoption, & maintenance of the organization’s MUI-based design system
Promote consistent UX principles across the organization’s product suite, influence ways of working for user-centered product design
Champion user-centered research and design principles from concept to launch
Promote trusting relationships with key leaders & stakeholders, foster strong lines of communication & feedback
Oversee the development and maintenance of user personas, user journeys, mockups, prototypes, and other design artifacts
Communicate design decisions, rationale, and direction through presentations and documentation
Develop and implement UX metrics and analytics to measure and optimize ROI for digital products and services

Required
7 to 10 years of work experience
3 years of people leadership experience
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field
6+ years in UX Design, 2+ years in leadership role
Previous experience in Healthcare, Health Insurance, Revenue Cycle Management
Expert level Figma skills
Experience with design system development and maintenance
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, and user research techniques
Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing UX teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with agile software development methodologies
Aha experience a plus
MUI experience a plus
Experience leading successful UX workshops and design sessions both in person and virtually
