Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to comprehend and provide feedback on business strategy and requirements for software platform capabilities.
Collaborate with product managers to understand priorities and usage scenarios of product features.
Provide leadership to teams for positive customer outcomes, innovation, and clear communication.
Collaborate with other engineering leaders to ensure the software platform's success.
Continuously improve engineering practices to support efficiency, reliability, and serviceability goals.
Coach leaders and engineers to excel in their roles.
Hire talent for teams.
Participate in prospect/customer meetings on technology topics.
Collaborate with technology suppliers to address technology needs.

Required
Experience designing, building, deploying, and operating commercial software that integrates sophisticated AI & ML stateful algorithms leveraging real-time aggregations (such as time windows) executing in low milliseconds.
Experience with commercial software that covers the entire lifecycle of intelligence execution, from authoring to execution to observing.
Experience with integrating model development tools within AI & ML tools such as Jupyter and Sagemaker.
Experience leading software teams developing in Typescript, Java and C++.
Ability to plan and drive your teams to an end state that is based on simplicity, modern software design patterns, open-source software, and cloud environments.
Ability to perform any of the engineering tasks done by your team.
Technical expertise across all deployment models on public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
Experience with domain-driven, event-driven, and micro-service architectures.
Experience in building, tracking, and communicating plans within agile processes.
Experience coaching/mentoring individuals and teams.
Experience with supporting production software deployments.
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
Preferred
Experience with delivering and managing commercial software for multiple public cloud technologies, e.g., AWS, Google, Azure desired.
Experience with Kubernetes and its eco-system desired.
Experience with code generation desired.
Experience with numerous caching technologies desired.
Experience with distributed synchronization algorithms desired.
Experience with numerous database technologies that leverage multiple types of indices desired.
Experience integrating decision and numerical programming technologies desired.
Experience integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies desired.
