Responsibilities

Ability to translate and operationalize project/program target state into solutions.

Communicate effectively to ensure clear expectations.

Manage and maintain progress across a portfolio of work, continuously managing program risks, issues, and escalations.

Liaise between cross-functional stakeholders to align around common objectives.

Improve and optimize projects towards efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.

Maintain program objectives, risks, issues, and overall status within approved program structure/technologies.

Manage projects with a forward-looking mindset, proactively anticipating and resolving issues.

Manage dependencies, roadblocks, and learning points.

Escalate and pursue resolution of roadblocks with end-to-end ownership mindset.

Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and project activities.

Maintain timely packaging and archival of completed deliverables.

Demonstrate flexibility and agility to pivot to new program priorities.

Prioritize and handle multiple projects accurately.

Facilitate discussions, reach decisions, and build trust-based relationships with stakeholders.

Deliver work product with minimal revision.

Support programs with enterprise risk management, financial or non-financial risk.

Utilize skills in communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, team building, coaching, and relationship management.

Demonstrate problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.

Openness to self-learning, improvement, and experimentation.

Required

A College or University degree and deep understanding of project management and portfolio management tools, techniques and methods (i.e., what good looks like), change management principles and how to build high-performing teams

Relevant industry knowledge is required (financial risk, non-financial risk, regulatory and/or compliance)

Technical skills: Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office 365 suite required (advanced with Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, MS Project)

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

Self-motivated, highly flexible and adaptable to change

Analytical and problem-solving skills are required

Results oriented

Knowledge of and experience supporting programs with enterprise risk management, financial or non-financial risk

Great skills across communication, facilitation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, team building, coaching members on practices, framework, ability to teach/train etc.

Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across enterprise, lead them towards common objectives and managing upwards and downwards (e.g., experience with acting as a constructive conduit between business and non-business teams)

Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills and time management skills

Openness to self-learning, improvement and experimentation

A minimum of 5 years serving as a Program Manager or a relevant role
