Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues to execute strategic marketing and communications plans.
Use digital marketing and social media platforms for outreach campaigns.
Create thought leadership content including articles, social media posts, videos, case studies, white papers, webinars, and podcasts.
Analyze content marketing metrics to suggest campaign changes.
Support events showcasing MITRE innovations and capabilities.
Work with company leaders to understand priorities and build marketing plans.
Identify internal storytelling projects aligned with business priorities.
Liaise with Internal Communications team for intranet content and leadership messaging.

Required

Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Experience combining words and images into strong brand stories.
Prior experience presenting to the C-Suite or the equivalent.
Proven experience identifying and measuring meaningful campaign performance metrics.
Experience working with highly technical programs and translating them into professional stories for a non-technical audience.
Familiar with B2G, B2B campaign development.
Strong project management skills, including working with creative teams.
Detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines consistently.
Comfortable managing multiple efforts in parallel.
Problem solver with great listening skills.

Preferred

Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar
Big Four, Management Consulting marketing/comms experience
