Responsibilities

Assumes a leadership role in the initial design and in the coordination of major projects, including pre-planning and post follow-up.

Develops innovative print and digital solutions for Keenan, Accretive and their agencies.

Guides and advises designer(s) in creating concepts, comps, layouts and final art and ensures they meet established deadlines.

Works closely with the Creative Director to create accurate price estimates and breakdowns while delivering solutions within budget and invoicing after a project is completed.

Supports Creative Director and steps in to manage the team when necessary.

Seeks out new products and maintains cutting edge industry knowledge.

Keeps informed on latest trends and forecasts.

All other duties as assigned.

Required

A four year degree in communications or a design discipline.

10+ years designing graphics in a corporate environment.

Experience managing design teams.

Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions. Also has excellent organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated ability to work independently with strong orientation to detail.

Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and basic Excel in a PC based environment. Proficient in print production on a large format Canon printer within 60 days. Good knowledge of major social media channels.
