Responsibilities

Drive customer, competitive, and market research to size potential product opportunities and develop proposals for product investments

Develop and iterate positioning and messaging for the Security Lifecycle Management portfolio

Partner with demand generation team to create security campaigns to generate interest in solutions

Build content explaining the business value of commercial offerings

Educate sales team and partner community on positioning HashiCorp’s security portfolio

Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure initiatives are effective

Required

6 years of software product marketing experience

Familiarity with the cloud infrastructure and/or security domains

Deep customer focus and curiosity

Self-starter with the ability to analyze ambiguous situations, develop a plan, execute and iterate

Proven history of successful collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and R&D teams

Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills

Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in CS, Business, Marketing, or a related field

Some travel required

Preferred

7-10 years of software product marketing experience

Technical subject matter expertise in infrastructure and security, with a strong understanding of how cloud computing has impacted these domains
