Responsibilities
Ability to measure and photograph existing conditions of buildings and prepare documentation.
Participate in schematic design drawings and modeling.
Assist in design development under senior architect's direction.
Create construction documents and specifications.
Ensure design compliance with local zoning codes.
Coordinate with consultants for structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing designs.
Assist in material selection, project budgeting, and bidding document preparation.
Attend construction meetings and site visits.
Maintain logs of submittals and shop drawings.
Respond to construction phase inquiries and assist in LEED documentation.
Establish positive relationships with team members and clients.
Suggest new ideas and processes to improve efficiency.

Required
BArch or MArch degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
2+ years of experience in design.
Intermediate skills in REVIT required.
Ability to work on multiple projects in different phases at the same time and meet the associated project deadlines.
Ability to mentor new designers and summer interns.
Ability to research code provisions, products, material information, etc.
Ability to coordinate information exchange between clients, project manager, and project team.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Preferred
Enscape, Bluebeam Revu, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign operational skills.
