Responsibilities
Work closely with clinicians and administrators to lead initiatives answering healthcare questions using statistical techniques.
Create and deploy new analytic software products distilling complex data into actionable insights.
Develop efficient analytic pipelines including data acquisition, exploratory analyses, feature extraction, modeling, and AI services.
Communicate findings to stakeholders and external organizations.
Define data source requirements and lead data evaluation and mining for new sources.
Mentor junior team members and advance data literacy organization-wide.
Collaborate with developers and researchers at the intersection of machine learning and health.
Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to organizational standards.

Required
Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a data scientist, software engineer with predictive modeling, or similar experience of solving real problems with data mining and machine learning techniques.
Fluency with statistical and ML techniques such as DNN, decision trees, neural networks, graphical models, clustering, and dimension reduction.
Proficiency with existing deep learning libraries (i.e. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe2) and machine learning packages (i.e. sklearn).
Fluency in coding in C++, Java, or Python.
Familiarity with continuous deployment and integration approaches
A strong passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
Masters of Science degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
PhD degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
