Responsibilities

Utilize data from the Enterprise Data Warehouse and various source systems to create the modeling to support custom reporting and dashboards for analysis.

Gather stakeholder requirements and understand business needs/logic.

Consolidate and manipulate data so it can be effectively used to support business requirements.

Use technical and business skills to create action-oriented summaries and analysis in the form of easy-to-use and understand dashboards.

Understand data in a way that supports using it to tell a story and uncover patterns that can be used to make decisions that help improve and grow the business.

Create dashboards to paint a clear and concise picture that helps make good business decisions.

Help bridge the gap between the business users and our data to support each area’s day-to-day operations.

Partner with various departments to understand business needs and logic to document reporting and dashboard requirements. Cross-functional communication and analysis of the existing process and opportunities is critical.

Technical analysis and consistent communication when creating wire frames and documenting the user experience.

Creating test scripts for the end users to ensure success in the adoption of the reporting/dashboard.

Work very closely with the Data Warehouse (DW) team and business units in the creation and adoption of exception reporting and resolutions. Daily checks of data accuracy and troubleshooting.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Minimum 10 years work experience working in analysis functions. Must have experience with data analytics software.

Highly experienced with relational databases, data manipulation tools and presentation software.

Be a team player, but also be able to work independently.

Be procedure and process oriented with exceptional attention to detail.

Demonstrate strong organizational abilities, analytical and time management skills.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Self-motivated, strong work ethic, operates with the highest level of integrity.

Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.

Thorough, research-driven approach and a willingness to consult and collaborate with others to overcome obstacles and achieve the best results.
